Bradley Baurain, President Bradley Baurain has taught for more than 30 years in China, Vietnam, Canada, and the United States. He is currently leading both the undergraduate and graduate TESOL programs at Moody, and is the co-editor of the International Journal of Christianity and English Language Teaching. He has also been editing or writing for Moody's Today in the Word devotional guide since 1993.
Alisha Biler, Past President Alisha is currently Assistant Professor of English and Linguistics at Boyce College in Louisville, KY and also serves as volunteer staff with Refuge International, supporting local church ESL ministries for refugees. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D in Linguistics from the University of South Carolina and focuses her research on the areas of L2 reading and writing. Having worked overseas as well as in the US, Alisha has over ten years of ESL teaching and teacher-training experience in variety of contexts, including intensive English language programs and church ministries.
Dr. Jan Dormer grew up in Brazil, and has taught English to learners of all ages in diverse countries. Jan has authored seven books on language teaching and learning, including Teaching English in Missions (2011, WCP), Language Learning in Ministry (2021, WCP) and ELT Basics (2023, TESOL Press). She is Director of TESOL and ESL at Taylor University (Indiana, USA).
Adriana Schmidt, Secretary Adriana is an independent Dual Language and Immersion Education Consultant with 20+ years of experience in diverse language development modalities. Her goal is to foster high academic and linguistic achievement in dual language programs. She holds a postgraduate diploma and M. Ed. from the University of Minnesota, lives in São Paulo, Brazil, with her husband and two children.
Joshua Detherage, Treasurer Joshua Detherage is an Instructor of ESL and M.A. TESOL at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He has an M.A. in TESOL and Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College. Joshua spent five years in Mongolia working with English teachers and English education students and has over 10 years' experience in teacher training. Dana Saito-Stehberger, Membership Coordinator Dana Saito-Stehberger is currently working at UC Irvine School of Education examining how English language learners can best be supported in learning computational thinking skills. She has taught English to international students for 25 years and has been on the revolutionary journey of following Christ for 35.
Gretchen Ketner, Member-At-Large (Interactions Coordinator) Gretchen is an English language teacher and program administrator who has been working with English language learners for over 15 years. She holds an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language from Penn State University. Her areas of interest include English for Academic Purposes, content-based language instruction, teaching second language reading, and language teacher development. She has taught in university intensive English programs at Penn State University, Juniata College, and LCC International University, as well as leading teacher professional development seminars in Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and online. She serves as the Director of Intensive English Programs at LCC International University in Klaipeda, Lithuania and is the Europe Field Specialist for Global Partners for Education.

Anthony Waheed completed his M.A. in English, B.Ed. in 2010 and started teaching English in Pakistan. Currently, he's been serving as a Lecturer in English(Assistant Professor soon) for the last five years at Wapda Postgraduate College, Tarbela, a government institute. Moreover, being a passionate evangelist, he's always ready to share the Word of God especially using the tool of English Language teaching. |
